Collection consists of clippings, pamphlets, certificates, and other ephemera related to a number of express and stage companies operating in early-day Colorado. Many of these companies helped to establish travel and communication routes, and carried mail, freight, and passengers in the west between 1849 and 1865. The materials in this collection were culled from the Colorado Historical Society's ephemera collection.
